Energy and Development in the ASEAN Region

An overview of energy sector and its progress in ASEAN region is depicted through data visualizations in this newly-released (January 2019) booklet. More than 60 different regional and national data sets are displayed as charts and maps for Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam in the areas of energy supply and use, efficiency, renewables, environmental factors, economics, trade and investment. The overview draws on statistics and charts available through ESCAP’s Asia Pacific Energy Portal, asiapacificenergy.org
